.lunareclipse.

Assalamualaikum.

It's 12.25am, and I am a bit sleepy. However, since it has been a long time since the last time I post something here, then here I go.

Currently, I am listening (and watching) MTV at 713. It shows Adele's music video of Someone Like You. Immediately I remembered Ashraf, Daman and Amir, the former TDP Australia students at BMI. Ashraf really like this song. He used to play it every time.hee.

They are leaving for their respective universities, this coming February. Not only them but other TDP Australia from other campuses like MFI and MICET. I hope all of them will get excellent results for their second semester as the results are compulsory requirements for them to enter the universities. Ahh, they are excellent students. No fuss. haha :D

As for us, the TDP UK students, we are expecting our IELTS results this coming Friday. Hopefully, no one will repeat the test or else RM570 is off to British Council.Yikes. As for the BMI students, we are expecting our finals results, also on the same day. why oh why.

Oh yes. Just now, around 7.30 pm to 10 pm, there was a spectacular natural phenomena, which was the lunar eclipse. It was really wonderful to see it. Prior to this phenomena, we as Muslims are encouraged to perform solat sunat. The kaifiyyat for this solat sunat is a bit different compared to other solat sunat.

After my family and I performed the prayers, we listened to a khutbah special for this phenomena. Generally, the content of the khutbah is about the lunar eclipse, the reasons why we are encouraged to perform the solat sunat and also to remind us all, who are always in negligence and disobedience towards Him, to return to the right path. To always acknowledge Allah as The Almighty and to remember that all of us are just small, tiny and helpless creatures, who is always in need of strength from Him.

There is this verse from the Qur'an, which the khatib read in his khutbah. It goes like this:

Say: "Nothing will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us; He is our Protector". And on Allah let the believers put their trust.

InsyaAllah we can learn something from this verse. Everything has been planned by Him.

Waillaliqa' maassalamah.
