.hope.

Assalamualaikum.

It is 3.00 am right now in Leeds, but I'm not asleep yet. I'm planning not to, because I know that I will wake up very late if I did.

Have you ever heard a statement which sounds/means more or less like this, "when you say something too frequent, then that thing will eventually become a reality". Yeah, I think this statement is kinda true.

Actually, there is this incy wincy thing I wish it had happen on the 16th of September ago, which is the day I left for Leeds. This small wish of mine existed a very long time ago (not that long actually, just a few months back). However, deep inside of my not so small belly, I had the strongest feeling that this tiny wish will not come true, ever.

Guess what. That feeling was true. My wish didn't come true.

At least 1 out of 19. not that much, rite? hmm. Promises remain promises. but what to do. Things didn't turn out the way I wanted. There are reasons for things that occurred. I will keep on hoping, praying that things will change later on. I'm not mad. I'm just venting out this thought out of my mind for good ^_^

(Hate it when people ask, "mana yang lain? ini je ke")

ok.memang tengah tacing ni.

At that time, you will truly appreciate those who are really there for you; your family and relatives. The ones whom you usually take for granted before. You return their sincere smiles, with a sincerer smile, full of appreciation.

Thanks to everyone who made my day that day :)

The unexpected-and-all-of-a-sudden RAIDS. Thanks, kot.haha

OP Chep (and wife) and OP Space. Thanks for coming :)

Waving for the last time.

Amirah and Acap

At Schipol Airport.

Honestly, I didn't quite enjoy the flight because the three of us didn't sit side by side. We lost the opportunity to do crazy things.haha.
That's about it. Hope to see more people coming to Leeds Uni for undergraduate studies. Cheers !

.dreams.

Assalamualaikum.

It has been exactly a week I have been staying here, in Leeds. My accommodation is good, my university is good, the city centre is great, but only the weather is really unpredictable. Today, it rained all day long. The rain is not that heavy but it is continuous. I was soaking wet because I have no umbrella. haih. Gotta buy one after this.

Going to the UK to further my studies was my childhood dream. However, later in my school days, I began to lose interest in going there. But, after my SPM results came out, that dream relived but it was shattered. But then, an offer came, asking me to go to Kuala Nerang and there is where this journey starts.

It feels like yesterday was my first day in Gombak and the day before is my first day in Kuala Nerang but now I'm already in the UK. The 1+1 years period happened so fast. Somehow, I can still remember what Che Yah used to say in Computing class back in Kuala Nerang about living in the UK. Haih, cepatnye masa berlalu =.= . Now, I'm striving for the next 3 years of the program.

Dreams do come true.

.approx4monthshols.

Assalamualaikum.

As the date states, it has been approximately 4 months since I finished my first year studies in UniKL-BMI. This 4 months holiday was filled with various activities. Some are beneficial, err but some are not really that beneficial =.='

June
On the 27th and 28th of June, Mud, Tungkai, Syed Harith, Muiz and I went to Ipoh. We stayed in a homestay house at Tambun. It was a really nice and exciting trip to Perak. We got the opportunity to meet our former KMKN mates currently studying at RCMP.

On the 30th of June, I attended the OPA dinner with my family. I also invited OP Azan along.

On the 1st of July, RMC organized the OPPP weekend. Met my batchmates.

July
On the 25th of July, I took the opportunity to meet with the new TDP UK Batch 6 at BMI. Shared some thoughts, tips and tricks. haha. It was really fun to get to know them even better.

August
On the 6th until 9th of August, my friends (Luqman, Mud, Muiz, Syimi and Khairy) and I went to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. That was the first time my friends to reach the land below the wind (Sabah). Therefore, I am entirely their tour guide. I took them to various places, including Kinabalu Park, Poring Hot Spring, the State Masjid, Manukan Island, Filipino Market, my previous schools, Centrepoint, Suria Sabah and 1Borneo. Our first iftar there was kinda ruined because we picked a non-recommended restaurant -.- , but later on, the restaurats and food stalls we went to are A-okay. Seriously. Especially, the seafood; wet-butter prawns *drooling*. We also went for an early 'beraya' to Shakira's house at Tuaran. Unforgettable experience ! In a nutshell, we (especially me) need to go to Kota Kinabalu again :)

On the 19th August, Muslims in Malaysia celebrated Eid, and as for my family, we celebrated it at Labis, Johor.

On the 24th until 26th of August, I spent the 3 days (a whole weekend by the way) with the first-der of my batch to get married. OP Chep to be exact. The 3 days were filled fun and joy, not to mention the tiredness travelling across few states. I got the chance to visit OP Rafiq's house and also OP Hakim's house at Simpang Renggam and Batu Pahat respectively. Talking bout the Wedding, alhamdulillah OP Chep and FatinHusna were successfully 'ijabqabul-kan'  (err ?) on the night of the 25th. The night ceremony was a chaos, I can say because there was about 20 to 30 of our batchmates attended the ceremony. Same goes to the 'kenduri' on the following day. Boys will be boys, and OATHS will be OATHS :D haha

Besides the meaningful experiences along the 3days, I have also received a special gift from the groom (Y) thanks wehh. Also, I made new friend(s). ahakss.

September
On the 9th of September, my family held a small open house in conjunction with the Syawal month that is still ongoing. Everything went really well. A lot of friends came. Some whom I've never met in the past 4-5 years. The food was great (Y)

On the 11th of September, met teachers in conjunction with Teacher's Day/Hari Raya/Merdeka. haha. Glad to meet them :)

On the 13th of September, my fellow TDP mates and I went to MARA to attend the pre-departure briefing. The briefing pretty much everything related to finance, before and after we reach the UK. The important part is, they gave our advance, as well as other allowances (Y). However, only the flight details are yet to be confirmed.haih

That's about it. Till then.
