i think it has been a long time since my last post. i was quite busy with task and appointments.
on 29 mac, i went for tnb scholarship interview. there, i met new friends, some from SBPs and they really, i mean really excel in their spm. too much + as i would say. i was arranged to be in group with a SAS boy, 2 STAR boys, a smkseafield boy and a SJI boy. the person who manage the interview process said that, 13,000 applied, 6,000 meet minimum requirements, 354 got called for interview and they only need 30-40 . so, it would be about 10% out of the candidates who went for interview. this also means that the probability of getting the scholarship is 0.1 or 1 out of 10. but, then again, my interview wasn't that okay compared to others who went in with me.
while on 31 mac, i went for the test of pnb scholarship. i reached menara pnb around 9.30 after having breakfast for an hour near to masjid jamek station. as i entered the building, i was surprised that other candidates have already there. like my previous interview, there were very bright students here. the test started at 10 and it was really hard. the test was divided to three papers, particularly on mathematics,18 questions; english language,30 questions; and IQ test, 40 questions and that would add up to become 88 questions. candidates are given 20 minutes to answer each paper. i missed 2 questions in mathematics while 5 questions in IQ. yeah, its really hard. the whole test finished around 12. then i went out for lunch with a friend and we went to sogo to play some arcade. then, we went to jusco tmn maluri and split up. there, i met am, the pizza maker. he was surprised because i was there, out of nowhere. at 4.30, my dad picked me up at sg besi station.
today, i just finished my phone interview with shell. the interviewer was very decent and thankfully i managed to answer the questions. the duration of the interview was about an hour.
next thursday, i'm going for jpa. hope i can get any one of them.hopefully. to others, good luck with yours too. a new experience i can say.
